International Conference on Water Reclamation and Reuse of Barcelona.

Water reclamation and reuse is a main component of integrated management of water resources and has effectively helped in advancing self-sufficiency and reliability of water resources, particularly under water uncertainty conditions. By holding the venue, Barcelona is offering, 20 years after the inaugural International Symposium on water reclamation and reuse held in Castell Platja d’Aro, Girona, the possibility to share the significant advances made by the water reclamation and reuse community in an increasing number of applications of reclaimed water all over the world.

The Scientific Committee selected 125 outstanding papers, from the 235 submitted for review. The program also includes 9 internationally renowned keynote speakers plus 2 invited Workshops. The 4 streams running in parallel will offer an inspiring source of information and debate on pressing issues: from microbial and chemical quality to public perception, to regulations and technology validation and to research for sustainability.
